What this website is
RaycastWork explains Raycast features, the difference between the Mac and Windows apps, AI and pricing limits, and a small set of practical workflows. It also compares that launcher with Alfred and Spotlight using those publishers' own documentation. The feature explorer and workflow finder do not send your choices to a server.
The site has no accounts, no checkout, and no software download. Questions about these pages go to [email protected].
Who it is for
The pages are written for people in the United States who read English and want to decide whether Raycast fits a Mac or Windows setup, what the Free plan leaves out, and how it differs from Spotlight or Alfred. Developers will find a narrower note on script commands and extensions. People who need a ticket closed inside the Raycast app need Raycast, not this site.
What it publishes
- Explanations of documented features, including what they do not do.
- Platform notes where a manual distinguishes macOS, Windows, or iOS.
- Pricing figures copied from the Raycast billing manual on a stated date.
- Practical workflows for common desktop jobs.
- Comparisons that record tradeoffs instead of scores.
How information is researched
The primary source for Raycast behavior is the public Raycast Manual. Raycast's pricing page, FAQ, Windows product page, and v2 requirements page are used for plan names, availability, and system requirements. Alfred's help and shop pages, Apple's Mac Help, and Microsoft's PowerToys documentation are used for the other products. Each feature record stores its sources and the review date 21 October 2026.
When official pages disagree, the page says so. On 21 October 2026 the Cloud Sync manual described Windows setup, while the Windows product FAQ still called Cloud Sync upcoming. The billing manual and the pricing FAQ also describe the Teams Free sharing cap differently. Those limits are written as a conflict, not as a single number.
How comparisons are prepared
Every product is described from its own documentation. A feature is not granted to a product because a review site says so. Missing details stay missing. Alfred's clipboard retention period, for example, was not stated on the Powerpack pages reviewed, so no number is invented. Raycast is not labeled the winner.
How content is updated
Product pages were checked on 21 October 2026. Raycast can change a feature without sending an update to this site. The date on a page is the day that claim was checked.
How to report an inaccuracy
Email [email protected] with the page URL, the sentence, and a link to the publisher documentation that supports the correction. Do not send passwords, payment cards, or Raycast license keys. This inbox is not Raycast support, and no response time is promised.
What you can and cannot buy here
Nothing. RaycastWork does not sell subscriptions, placements, or software, and these pages do not load advertising or analytics scripts. Access to the guides is free. Raycast's own prices, listed on the pricing guide, are charges from Raycast, not from this website.
Relationship with Raycast
The name Raycast identifies the software being discussed. RaycastWork does not develop or distribute that software, does not sell its licenses, does not provide its technical support, and is not an authorized partner or reseller. The header mark is an original catalog symbol, not the Raycast logo.
What this site will not claim
It does not claim laboratory testing, user counts, ratings, or awards. Editorial comments are labeled so they are not read as a sentence from a manual.
