Is RaycastWork the official Raycast website?

No. RaycastWork is an independent informational resource focused on productivity software and workflows. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Raycast.

Raycast's own site and manual are the product publisher's pages. Links to those pages on RaycastWork are labeled so you can tell when you are leaving this site.

Does RaycastWork sell Raycast or offer downloads?

No. This website does not sell licenses, host installers, or provide a download button for Raycast. It also does not sell Alfred, or any other product in the comparisons.

If you decide to install software, do that from the publisher. A compatibility note on this site is not an instruction to download a particular build.

Can you fix a problem inside the Raycast app?

No. RaycastWork does not provide official technical support, billing changes, license recovery, or account access for Raycast. Emailing [email protected] will not open a Raycast support case.

Product questions about a broken install, a charge, or an account belong with Raycast. Editorial corrections about this website belong here.

Is Raycast free?

Raycast publishes a Free plan. The billing manual's examples include clipboard history, Quicklinks, a calculator, snippets, an emoji picker, window management, five notes, iOS access, extensions, and developer tooling.

AI, Cloud Sync, Dictation, Translator, unlimited notes, longer clipboard retention, custom themes, and custom window layouts are paid features in that same manual. Confirm the current split on Raycast's pricing page before you buy.

Does Raycast AI require a subscription?

Yes, according to the billing manual reviewed on 21 October 2026. AI is not included with Raycast Free. Paid individual plans were Pro, Pro+, and Max, with different monthly AI credits. A 7-day Pro trial is described for eligible new accounts and does not include top-tier models.

Local models and bring-your-own API keys still require a Pro subscription on Raycast v2, according to Raycast's Windows changelog, even when they do not spend Raycast credits.

Does Raycast run on Windows?

Yes. Raycast documents a Windows app for Windows 10 version 21H2 or later and for Windows 11. The public FAQ still described that app as a public beta on the review date. The manual documents many Windows shortcuts, and it also conflicts with the Windows FAQ about Cloud Sync.

Do not assume every macOS feature is in every Windows build. The Mac and Windows pages explain the differences this site could verify.

Does Raycast run on Linux?

Raycast's FAQ says there are no current plans to bring Raycast to Linux. This site does not invent a Linux port or a recommended Linux substitute.

Is Raycast better than Alfred or Spotlight?

Not as a universal claim. Spotlight is built into the Mac and already solves search for many people. Alfred is a Mac launcher with a one-time Powerpack for workflows, snippets, and clipboard history. Raycast adds a Windows app and a subscription AI plan, and it asks you to accept that tradeoff.

The comparison center records those differences without scores.

How does RaycastWork check product facts?

Feature records cite official manuals or publisher help pages and show the date they were reviewed, 21 October 2026. When two official pages disagree, the page says so instead of picking a convenient version.

Examples are labeled as illustrations. They are not user tests, ratings, or usage statistics.

How do I report an inaccuracy?

Email [email protected] with the page address, the sentence you think is wrong, and a link to the publisher page that supports the correction. There is no contact form in this version.

This site does not promise a response time. A correction request is not a support ticket for Raycast.

Does this website set cookies or analytics?

The pages do not set cookies, do not use local storage, and do not load analytics or advertising scripts. The interactive tools keep their state in memory for that visit.

The host that serves the site can still write connection logs. The cookie policy explains how that differs from a cookie. It does not state a log retention period.

Who operates RaycastWork?

RaycastWork is the name of this independent website. It is not operated by the company that publishes the Raycast application.

The contact email for this website is [email protected]. The site does not publish a phone number or a mailing address.

These questions are written for visitors. They are not marked up as a special FAQ rich-result type, because that format is not a good fit for this general information site.
